3rd Annual Western Maryland Democratic Summit  

The Western Maryland Democratic Summit is an opportunity for Democrats from throughout the State of Maryland to get together to discuss Democratic issues and hear from speakers. 

Governor Martin O'Malley will be our lunch speaker.  Other invited speakers include Congressman & DCCC Chair Steny Hoyer, Comptroller Peter Franchot, and Attorney General Doug Gansler. 

We expect to have a number of panel discussions and break out sessions dealing with party building, the 2008 presidential election, historical perspectives, and running local campaigns.  Our hope is to have a big name speaker for dinner on Saturday night. 

This is the 3rd summit that we have held and the first two were very successful.  Friday night will include a hospitality room, the program and dinner will be on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Rocky Gap.
