On Tuesday, December 6, the Democratic Women's PAC of Maryland will host its annual fundraiser at the American Visionary Art Museum from 6 to 8 p.m. featuring Guest Speaker Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

 

In 1992, Congresswoman Schultz made history at age 26 as the youngest female ever elected to Florida's State Legislature. Over 12 years, she built a reputation as a passionate fighter and advocate for her constituents and especially for working families and children pioneering such legislation as the "Drive Through Baby Bill" and "Drive Through Mastectomy Bill" to help get women the medical care they need when they need it.

The coming election year is a critical to our state. We need to pull together our resources to ensure that women's voices and votes remain strong and pervasive. The Democratic Women's PAC of Maryland was founded by elected officials, working women, community leaders, and volunteers committed to helping elect qualified Democratic women candidates to state and local office.

 

We're inviting members of our Network to join us to help ensure that our voices are loud and strong in the coming election. There are four ways you can help make this event a success: Be one of the many women who have already signed up to host or Sponsor this event, help with the Coordinating Committee or be a Guest.

 

Tickets are $75 per person or $35 for Young Democrats or College Democrats.
