Jul 22, 2007 Western Maryland Democratic Picnic at Rocky Gap State Park On Sunday, July 22, the Western Maryland Democratic Caucus is excited to announce that it will hold it’s First Annual Western Maryland Democratic Family Picnic. The picnic will begin at noon and last until 5:00 p.m. The picnic will be a family atmosphere for people of all ages and lunch will be provided, to include hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, desserts, snacks, beer, and drinks. Park amenities including swimming, volleyball courts, tennis courts, and playgrounds will be accessible to all picnic attendees. Admission to Rocky Gap State Park is only $5.00 per Maryland vehicle. Tickets are on sale now for $15.00. Students and senior citizens 60 and older may purchase reduced price tickets for only $10.00. Children under the age of 6 and all active duty service members will be admitted for free. Tickets are available by mail.
